Current transformers CORE brand, are directly used in low voltage electrical systems, up to 1,000 volts maximum. Although they are mainly used in electrical equipment such as boards and circuit breakers in medium and high voltage, where the level of insulation is provided by a different means to the same transformer. Its application is focused primarily on providing measurement instruments, control and protection, signal power as reliable and accurate as possible, make it a true reflection of what happens in the primary power system. By its application are divided in two groups; It is one for measurement and one for protecting electrical systems. These must meet stringent technical requirements of precision, which are defined and regulated by national and international standards.
